Short CV:

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frederik Zanger is an experienced manufacturing engineer with over 15 years in research, specializing in additive manufacturing, machining of metals, simulation of manufacturing processes, and digitalization of process chains. He has established the research group Additive Manufacturing at wbk Institute of Production Science at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and holds the chair for Digitalization of Process Development for Additive Manufacturing since 07/2023. His expertise in additive manufacturing is on powder bed fusion (metals), directed energy deposition (metals), binder jetting (metals) and vat photopolymerization (ceramics) processes.
